Certified Network Defender | CND Training Course
The Certified Network Defender (CND) is a vendor-neutral, instructor-led, hands-on comprehensive network security certification training program. It is a skills-based, lab-intensive program grounded in the security education framework and work role task analysis presented by the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF), as well as the job-task analysis and cybersecurity education framework established by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). The course content has also been aligned with global job roles and the Department of Defense (DoD) job roles for system/network administrators.
This program equips network administrators with the ability to identify which parts of an organization require review and testing for security vulnerabilities, as well as how to reduce, prevent, and mitigate risks within the network. CND covers the protect, detect, respond, and predict approach to network security.
