All participants who complete the Applying Professional Scrum course receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSM I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. APS class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost.
Additionally, participants are entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment upon passing PSM I.

During this two-day Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) workshop, participants will simulate a large-scale software development project utilizing the Nexus™ framework. The session employs a comprehensive case study approach, enabling students to collaborate in organizing and simulating a scaled software development initiative. Throughout the workshop, learners are introduced to over 50 practices designed to reduce complexity and dependencies at scale. Participants will gain a solid understanding of how to launch, structure, staff, and manage large Agile projects using Scrum. They will acquire the necessary infrastructure, tools, and practices to successfully scale Scrum, thereby maximizing the value of their software development efforts. Through a hands-on approach, students remain fully engaged, observing first-hand the challenges associated with large-scale development and learning practical solutions to get projects back on track. By the end of the workshop, participants will possess techniques to identify irregularities and address them effectively.
This course is structured as an experiential workshop where students learn to scale Scrum using the Nexus™ framework. Participants are introduced to the artifacts and events within the framework, the newly established Nexus Integration Team role, and more than 50 associated practices.
