About This Course
This course addresses three core pillars of Microsoft 365 enterprise administration: security management, compliance management, and device management. Regarding security management, you will explore prevalent threat vectors and data breaches affecting modern organizations, and understand how Microsoft 365’s security solutions mitigate these risks. You will be introduced to the Microsoft Secure Score and Azure Active Directory Identity Protection. Subsequently, you will learn to manage Microsoft 365 security services, such as Exchange Online Protection, Advanced Threat Protection, Safe Attachments, and Safe Links. You will also become familiar with various reports used to monitor security health. The course then shifts focus from security services to threat intelligence, demonstrating how to leverage the Security Dashboard and Advanced Threat Analytics to anticipate potential breaches. With a solid foundation in Microsoft 365 security, you will examine the essential components of compliance management. This includes an overview of data governance fundamentals, such as data archiving and retention, Information Rights Management, Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (S/MIME), Office 365 message encryption, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). You will then deepen your knowledge of archiving and retention, focusing on in-place records management in SharePoint, archiving and retention in Exchange, and retention policies within the Security and Compliance Center. Understanding these key aspects of data governance, you will learn their implementation, including creating ethical walls in Exchange Online, constructing DLP policies from built-in templates, developing custom DLP policies, protecting documents with DLP, and configuring policy tips. You will then focus on managing data governance in Microsoft 365, covering retention management for email, troubleshooting failed retention policies and policy tips, and addressing sensitive data issues. Additionally, you will learn to implement Azure Information Protection and Windows Information Protection. This section concludes with instructions on managing search and investigation capabilities, including content search in the Security and Compliance Center, auditing log investigations, and advanced eDiscovery. Finally, the course provides an in-depth look at Microsoft 365 device management. You will begin by planning various aspects of device management, such as preparing Windows 10 devices for co-management. You will learn to transition from Configuration Manager to Intune and explore the Microsoft Store for Business and Mobile Application Management. Moving from planning to implementation, you will focus on your Windows 10 deployment strategy, which includes implementing Windows Autopilot, Windows Analytics, and Mobile Device Management (MDM). In the context of MDM, you will learn how to deploy it, enroll devices, and manage device compliance.
