Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

Upon completion of this training, participants will be equipped to:

• Boost the volume of work items completed within a specific timeframe.
• Decrease the duration required to finish work items.
• Enhance the predictability of work delivery (providing more accurate responses to 'When will it be finished?').
• Monitor flow metrics (throughput, lead time, work in progress, and age of work items).
• Apply flow visualization techniques (Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, and Work Aging Chart).
• Leverage statistical forecasting techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreements.
• Systematically design a Kanban System using the STATIK methodology.
• Comprehend Little's Law, which explains the dynamics of value flow.

This intensive two-day course is designed to empower teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to thrive in an Agile environment by leveraging frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Participants will gain the skills to operate effectively as Agile Teams, manage backlogs, and successfully plan and execute iterations. A key focus is understanding the team’s specific role within the ART, fostering collaboration, planning, execution, and continuous improvement alongside other teams.

The training equips teams to actively participate in a Program Increment (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level events, with special emphasis on preparing for PI planning sessions. Completing the course also prepares participants to take the certification exam to become a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
