The PAQ program is a three-day immersive training course designed to prepare candidates for the certification exam. It emphasizes the development of practical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.

The examination format is a 'hands-on' assessment. Candidates are provided with a product backlog release that includes user stories, accompanying design documentation, and a 'multi-drop' application intentionally seeded with defects. Detailed instructions regarding the expected outcomes of the practical assessment are provided, along with the opportunity to produce the required work products. Each practical assessment also includes one or two scenario-based questions requiring written responses (with a maximum of five questions in total) covering various competencies. These written answers, along with the results of the product backlog release, are evaluated by an independent assessor. The assessment duration is 2.5 hours.

Develop the skills required to facilitate the continuous delivery of value within a Lean organization. Acquire the capabilities needed to fulfill the role of SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile Release Train (ART) by driving value through Program Increments. Explore how the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture support the ongoing enhancement of the ART.
