Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be equipped to:
- Articulate the key concepts and principles underlying artificial intelligence management
- Outline the primary requirements of ISO/IEC 42001 for an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
- Recognize the strategies, methods, and techniques applied to implementing, maintaining, and enhancing an AIMS
Course Structure
Day 1: Overview of artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS) and the ISO/IEC 42001 standard
Day 2: Deep dive into AIMS and the certification examination
Examination
The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam aligns with all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) standards and addresses the following competency areas:
Domain 1: Core principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
Domain 2: Implementation and management of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)

Certification
Upon passing the examination, you may apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation” credential. Additional information on ISO/IEC 42001 certification and the PECB process can be found in the Certification Rules and Policies.
The prerequisites for the ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation certificate are detailed below:
General Information
- Both certification and examination costs are covered by the training course fee.
- Participants will receive comprehensive course materials featuring more than 200 pages of content, including practical case studies, exercises, and quizzes.
- Participants who attend the training course will receive a completion certificate valued at 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits.
- Participants who have completed the training course but did not pass the exam are permitted one free retake within 12 months of the initial exam date.
Requirements
No prior requirements are necessary to enroll in this training course.
